More about the doctor or the midwife: Was really understanding, listened to the difficulties i was having.

Moms description about giving birth to me: Your birth story is actually quite funny. We lived in Sayward and the Dr had given me strict orders to stay put in Campbell River incase we have to go to Labor and Delivery. Well we stayed at grandmas and Papas for about a week. Well a week past and I just wanted to go home and sleep in my own bed so we decided to leave. Well not even a few hours after we got back to Sayward I started having what i thought were Braxton Hicks contractions. They hurt but i wasnt going to go to the hospital with "fake" contractions. Well I finally decided we better go when the contractions were coming about 2-3 minutes apart while still thinking in my head that they were "fake" contractions. We get to Labor and Delivery and they hook me up to the moniter to time my contractions and see the strength. The nurse at the time also thought they were just Braxton Hicks but then all of a sudden they were getting really stong and lasting about a minute so I knew i was in labor. She checked me and i was about 4 cms. I was in alot of pain so i asked if i could have some meds and she put some into my IV. I decided then to go and have a shower and see if the water would help. I step into the shower and i feel like the medicine is wearing off and the contractions are hurting so bad its taking my breath away. I get out and tell the nurse and i ask her to check me She was hesitant she said that i wouldnt be fully dilated yet. As she was checking me she looked up at me and said wow ok well you are fully dilated and ready to go. Well the nurse thought she was going to be delivering you because the doctor wasnt there yet and you were coming.
Well he made it and you were born. I cried seeing you for the first time. Your dad had some tears too.
Who visited me in the hospital: Everyone came to visit you. Grandma and Papa Farney, Grandma and Papa Kroot, Aunty Dianna, Layla, Pat, Aunt Sheana, Rob, Aunt Cassie, Blake, Tyler, Aunt Val, Uncle Tyler, Trish, Great Grandma and Great Grandpa, so many others.

Time spent at hospital: We spent a week in the hospital because you had trouble with your feeding. They thought that was because you were a month early.
